The nation's leading private landowner conservationists and leaders from government and non-government organizations will gather to exchange ideas and learn about the most innovative approaches to managing working lands in the face of sweeping change. We'll discuss changes in climate, ecosystem services markets, land ownership patterns, and consumer demand for sustainably-produced food.

A special reception at the Monterey Bay Aquarium will kick things off on the evening of Monday the 8th. The following two days will feature:

  • A full day symposium including four robust panel discussions
  • Spokesperson training with noted communication coach Teri Goudie
  • A working session to develop recommendations on conservation policy
  • An afternoon field trip showcasing innovative conservation practices in Monterey County and the Salinas Valley

Space is limited! Please visit our registration page to register and reserve lodging at the all-inclusive Asilomar Conference Grounds. Registration closes on 31 May.

We recommend making flight arrangements as soon as possible to take advantage of the best prices and availability during this busy summer travel season. For more on travel, visit the "Getting There" tab at

Our coastal retreat-style venue is minutes from Carmel-by-the-Sea, Pebble Beach, Monterey and other great destinations, so you may wish to extend your stay in the area.
