Title: Animal Care Wednesday Webinar, September 7th at 10:30am CST, Dr, Gretchen Hill, Antibiotics: Livestock Use & Human Health Concerns

The next Animal Care Wednesday Webinar will be on Wednesday, September 7th, 10:30 am CST/9:30 am MT. Dr. Gretchen Hill, Professor of Nutrition at Michigan State University, will be discussing antibiotic use in livestock production and how it relates to human health concerns. This may give you some food-for-thought about how to respond to people that think farmers are overusing antibiotics and “poisoning them and their children”.

The webinar will also be hosted in SDSU Animal Science room 111 (Wahlstrom Room) for those that enjoy further discussion.

This presentation will be recorded. All recorded webinars and handouts (when available) are archived at: http://4h.unl.edu/resourceanimalcare.
