Title: NRCS State Technical Committee to Meet November 10 in Ft. Pierre

NATURAL RESOURCES CONSERVATION SERVICE, Huron, SD, October 26, 2016–The Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS) will hold the State Technical Committee (STC) Meeting on Thursday, November 10, 2016, at the Drifters Event Center located at 325 Hustan Ave, Fort Pierre, SD.  The meeting is open to the public and will begin at 10 a.m. The STC serves as an advisor to the NRCS State Conservationist. 

 The tentative agenda for the meeting includes SD Healthy Soils Public Relations Strategy: “Merit or Myth;” SD Integrated Report for Surface Water Quality; Resource Concerns and Locally Led Update, Update; a Fiscal Year (FY) 2016 program update to include Environmental Quality Incentives Program (EQIP), Conservation Stewardship Program (CSP), Agricultural Conservation Easement Program (ACEP), and the Resource Conservation Partnership Program (RCPP); Conservation Innovation Grant Update; Conservation Reserve Program (CRP); Strikeforce Projects Update; South Dakota Wetland Compliance Update; and more.
