Craig Bieber

VICE PRESIDENT OF MEMBERSHIP

Craig Bieber is the owner and operator of Bieber Red Angus Ranch alongside his wife Peggy. Craig, a second-generation producer has always had a passion for the land and cattle. As CEO, with the help of five full time team members, he currently runs just under 1000 registered Red Angus females and sells around 550 bulls annually. Bieber Red Angus was recently listed as the 14th largest seedstock producer in the US in Directions 2021.

Craig and Peggy have two married children Eric (Megan) and Kristin(Jake) and five grandchildren Presley, Kylie, Hartley Londyn and Holton. Eric is an Ag insurance agent and Megan works as a court clerk. Kristin and Jake are both team members at Bieber Red Angus and hope to be the next generation to lead the program.

Craig currently serves on the Red Angus Association (RAA) board as the region B area director and on the breed improvement committee and the RAA Strategic Planning Committee. He has a long-standing record of service to the RAA, serving on the board of directors for five years and as the RAA president in 1999-2000. He is also a past secretary of the South Dakota Red Angus Association and served on the South Dakota Beef Industry Council as a director for nine years. Additionally, Craig served as the director of the Beef Improvement Federation (BIF) and was the 2015-2016 President. He has served as US Meat Export Federation representing the SDBIC. Craig currently serves as on the South Dakota Cattlemen as the Membership VP.

Craig was awarded the John Robbins Distinguished Service Award from the RAA in 2018, the Continuing Service from the Beef Improvement Federation in 2019, and the Dedicated Service Award from the South Dakota Beef Industry Council in 2019.
